Coding Every Day
At the moment I am on a mission to sharpen my coding axe. I am teaching myself to code in Javascript and seeing that it is like learning a new language, I am practising every day.
Daily Sync
I have been working on Daily Sync since April 2024. My goal is to automate the following for The Daily Wine:
- Purchasing stock from suppliers
- Receiving stock from suppliers
- Inventory Restocking
- Order Fulfilment
- Local Courier Management
I have learned a lot and I am still learning every day, and this has been an awesome way to learn a lot about coding.
SendKit - Newsletter Software
Email marketting is still the most effective way to communicate with your customers. Communicating with 1000’s of customers cannot be done manually, so you need software to do that. Collectively for many of the businesses listed on this page I pay ±R6000 per month for newsletter software.
Which is why I decided to build my own in-house newsletter software using what I’ve learned from coding DailyBulkWine & Daily Sync to do so. I am calling it SendKit.
I might end up releasing this to the public as a paid service, however I will first use it internally for all my online businesses until I feel it’s ready.
The Daily Wine
I have been working on The Daily Wine, an online wine store in South Africa for almost 4 years now. It was the business that allowed me to go “all-in” on being an entrepreneur, and I have been trying to optimise it ever since.
Daily Bulk Wine
Daily Bulk Wine was created as a result of the network built with The Daily Wine and it’s a business to business marketplace for bulk wine trading between wine cellars.
It’s very hands-off and every now and again it gives me some nice commission income.
Kiki & Co Scrubs
I have been working on Kiki & Co scrubs with Janneke Van Wyk for more than 2 years now and it has been an incredible experience to learn about clothing retail and manufacturing.
Kiki & Co produces the most unique medical scrubs in South Africa and we have a mission to enable medical professionals to make an Impression, while making an Impact.

Nurudev Property Investments
A few years ago, me and some friends decided that we are going to put away some money each month and buy rental properties.
We have since bought one property and we are currently investigating other investment options.
Nurudev doesn’t take up much time, but it’s a nice passive investment.

In my year review of 2024 I set some new goals and one of them was to continue coding every day in 2025.
I bought the domain squashbooking.com (yes I could not believe it's available either) and I decided to build a booking platform and replace our squash clubs archaic pen and paper method here. Long story short - our whole club is now using it. Check it out here.
